You get in one of two ways, and both of them close at a hundred: apply here and we read it ourselves, or arrive on an invite from someone already inside and skip the application entirely. When the hundredth Workspace opens, applications shut and the founding rate goes with them.
An answer either way, and a no comes with the reason attached. Nothing is charged until you open a round, so waiting costs you the seat and saves you nothing.
Everyone with a Cairnul account holds a referral link, whatever their role, and their link is the whole application: no review, no wait, your Workspace open the same day. It opens a Workspace that is yours, not a seat in theirs, and they see nothing inside it. Someone putting their name next to yours beats anything you could type into a form, so that is how we treat it, and both of you are paid for it: three months free for you, and a credit on their next invoice.
Follow it and this page already knows: your name and email, and you are in today, ahead of everyone still waiting on a reply. What opens is your own Workspace, with your cap table and your round in it. The gift is yours too, not theirs: your first three months free on annual, or your first month on monthly.
This is how most of the hundred will go.
Given a code instead?Six questions, about two minutes. The company, what you are raising, roughly when it opens, and a line on what you are building. We read every one, in the order they arrive.
Not everyone gets in, and the seats only run one direction.
Apply to Cohort 01$110 a month, billed yearly, and you keep it through the whole of your first round whatever the price does after launch. Join in Cohort 02 and you pay what it costs then.
Refer a founder sits in your topbar from day one, and your link skips the application for whoever follows it. They get a Workspace of their own rather than a seat in yours, and three months free on annual. You get $132 off your next invoice when they pay yearly, or $66 when they pay monthly, on every founder you send.
One hundred rounds is small enough that we build against yours. The instrument you need next, the state you are qualifying into, the report your lead keeps asking for. At a thousand, you are a ticket.
Bring whatever you have already signed. In Cohort 01 we go through it with you and rebuild the cap table from it, rather than handing you an importer and wishing you luck. That is not a thing we can keep doing at scale.
Every Founder who opens a Workspace in Cohort 01 is entered once, automatically. Ten of the hundred are drawn when the cohort fills, which makes the odds one in ten, and they will never be that good again.
One Founder in Cohort 01 never sees an invoice from us again, on this Workspace or the next one.
Two years of Workspace, which is a first round and the one after it, on us.
A full year, which is longer than most first rounds take from first terms to last filing.
No purchase needed and nothing to enter: opening a Workspace in Cohort 01 is the entry. Drawn at random once the hundredth Workspace opens, one prize per Founder, and we publish who won. Void where prohibited.
Cairnul holds the record of a real securities offering. The Founders in Cohort 01 set the shape of every template, every default and every reminder that comes after them. That is not a decision we hand to whoever finds the site first, which is why the door is this narrow and why it does not widen later.
Most of the hundred will arrive on someone’s link, which means most of the seats are spoken for by people you have never met. Nobody puts their name next to a founder who will embarrass them, so it is the best filter we have, and it is the fastest way in for you.
At one hundred rounds we read your paper ourselves and build the next thing against what you actually hit. Past that, everyone gets a support queue instead, which is the thing you are already trying to escape. Cohort 01 is the only group that never has to.
Two minutes to fill in, and we read every one in the order it arrives. You get one email back, whichever way it goes.
A Delaware C-Corporation, foreign qualified wherever you actually operate.
Raising $25k to $25m under Reg D Rule 506(b) or 506(c).
Advisors on the way, or none yet. Having none does not count against you.
Starting the paper, or money already in on a Google Doc and worth cleaning up.
A no names which part, and anyone inside can still bring you in past us.
One email with an answer, not a silent queue. If it is a no it names which part, the entity, the exemption or the stage, and a Founder inside can still wave you in past us while seats remain.
